The outdoor wireless solar camera will capture images when triggered by motion detection, time activation or live picture requests. Equipped with a solar panel and internal battery to allow uninterrupted operation day and night.

Wirless Solar Camera Recording Methods

Two Options for Saving Images

Photos Interval: Photos are taken periodically (i.e. every 15 min. regardless of motion detection / motion settings)

Motion Interval: Time period between motion detected photos.

Cellular Connectivity

Cellular service for the camera comes preconfigured and your credit card will be charged on a monthly basis. The SKY-WSHD wireless solar camera is ready to go, right out of the box. No conguration is needed, just mount the camera where you need it. The monthly fee will cover cellular service, cloud storage and use of the software interface. No Contracts, Cancel Anytime.

Viewing Options

Images from the solar wireless camera are sent over the cellular network to our cloud servers, and since they are hosted on our servers you can access the user interface from anywhere.

Within the user interface the following options are available:

Live View
Playback of recorded images
Forward images to any cellular phone or email address.
Nighttime Notification from 6pm to 6am

Do I need to buy a SIM card?

No. Cameras are configured with a SIM card prior to shipping.

Can I take a picture live?

Yes. Login to the user interface and click the Instant Picture button to take a live picture.

Can I see the camera on my cellular phone?

Yes. From within the user interface you can configure your cellular phone and images will be sent via text messaging.

Can I use my smartphone or tablet to access the camera?

Yes. The user interface is web based so it can be accessed on any smartphone and teblet with a web browser.

Will the camera operate at night?

Yes. The camera is equipped with two lenses, for day and night operation. The camera also includes 55 infrared LED's to provide night vision up to 75 feet away..

Do trees blowing in the wind trigger the motion sensor?

No. The sensor only detects warm bodies moving in front of it.

How long does it take to recieve an image?

30 seconds or less. The image will be in the user interface, sent to your phone or email.

How long are images stored?

Pictures are stored as long as you have an active service plan. If your service plan is cancelled you will have access for 30 days.

Are the images being sent over the cellular network secure?

Yes, the images are being sent using encryption methods.

Will the solar panel work when it is cloudy?

Yes. Even though it is cloudy the UV light will still reach teh solar panel. The internal batteries will also ensure the camera will run up to 5 days without a solar charge.

Does the solar panel need a battery?

The camera has a bettery located in the housing which is charged by the solar panel and can last up to 5 days before needing a charge.

Cellular service with 2G is required for the camera to transmit images. Each camera is setup with a T-Mobile or AT&T cellular service so make sure that you have coverage in your area, click on the map below to view the coverage in your area. When checking for coverage the solution only needs to be satisfactory or better.
