Cameras and Cable Requirements Questions How do I connect my video cameras to the G-Max server? Cameras are connected to the G-Max video server via coaxial cable, using security industry standard BNC type connectors. If you use RG-59U coaxial cable, it can be up to 700 feet long. Please remember to use copper braid cable, not aluminum braid cable. Aluminum braid cable is cheaper, but it does not work as well over the long term.
